Important Reminder to update your Notice of Privacy Practice (2-16-2026)
Don't forget as of February 16, 2026, your clinic is required to include information about substance use disorder (SUD) patient records (described in 42 U.S.C. 290dd-2(a) and 42 CFR part 2 (“Part 2”)) in your notice of privacy practices (NPP). The revised NPP must align with your current practice, procedures, and data sharing processes. Click on the link below for additional information from HHS to support your NPP updates.
